Meet James
This last month has been a whirlwind while we acclimate toife with our newborn son, James. I went into labor earlier than expected with him in November at just a few days shy of 38 weeks, but we had no complications!
When they say it's different with your second kid, they weren't lying. Mike and I feel like we have so much more confidence and knowledge this time around. James has also been an easy baby so far and that has made this experience so much better. Our first born was extremely colicky for the first 3.5 months and it was extremely stressful. We feel like we're finally getting our chance to enjoy the newborn stage everyone's always talking about.
Our oldest son, Miles, has also been adjusting amazingly. We are so lucky to have been gifted a child who loves babies and other kids, and has wanted a sibling so wholeheartedly. He doesn't mind the crying, loves helping out and learning, and listens to direction intently. We truly feel like a completed family. Without him, I can't imagine how this experience would have gone.
I am so incredibly thankful for the way this journey has taken us so far. This road has not always been smooth, but the destination has been magical. I can't wait to share this new chapter in our lives with you all!
