2021 Word of Intention: Progress

Last year, I stopped making New Year's resolutions and began practicing words of intention to live my year by. My word last year was focus. I wanted to live my year with the intention of slowing down, paying attention and focusing on my goals ahead. 2020 as a whole made that very difficult to achieve, but I'm glad that, while I may have lost sight in the middle of the year amidst everything that happened, I'm glad that in the third part of the year I was able to get back on track.

I even bought and 75% adhered to a planner to help reestablish a sense of focus, give me a grasp on time, and get me generally organized again; something very difficult for people with ADHD to manage.

For 2021, I decided that my word of intention would be progress. It's easy to make intentions and not go anywhere. I want to have 2021 be the year that I moved following after the year that I stood still.

This year, I will be putting more progress into the direction of my content creation, as well as my art creations. I have made goals not only for my blog and Instagram, but also for my Twitch and YouTube channels, and my Etsy store. I want to create and have those creations be presented to the world. I know that'll be hard as Mike and I try to expand our family and will have to navigate all of this at the same time. I feel more prepared from my past experiences and truly believe in myself that I can manage it all.

“The thing about growing up with Fred and George," said Ginny thoughtfully, "is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve.”

JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

This quote is really going to be my mantra this year.
