Local Thrifting: Lodi Junction
Shopping isn't something I do too often these days, but when I do I try to be more conscious of what I'm spending that money on. When I can, I always try to buy secondhand first. I'm also trying to incorporate more local purchases, as well. After years of hearing about Lodi Junction and get gifts from my mom from there, I knew I was far too overdo for a shopping trip!
There's 2 parts to this store that are separated by a wall. It almost feels like it was once 2 stores that were converted into one. The right side are clothes and the left are children's clothing, coats, accessories and homewares.
While I wasnt able to find anything for myself during this trip, I did manage to get Miles' two sweaters in great condition, as well as a good sense of the store. I can't wait to do a solo trip soon to really dive into their housewares!
I managed to score a blue and yellow Tommy Hilfiger collared cardigan and a gray The Children's Place cardigan for just under $10 total! They weren't new with tags, but these were in GREAT condition. I do have to fix the button hole on the Tommy cardigan because I accidentally broke it while trying to get Miles' head through the neck hole. Should have checked the buttons first! Both are 2T and I'm hoping they'll last into the end of the year, but we'll see. You just never know with little ones!
I definitely recommend check out Lodi Junction during your next shopping trip. It's located in Downtown Lodi and you can pop next door to Lodi Brewery for a meal when you're done!
