Quick Dollar Tree Succulent Table Decor
When we started working on making over our patio, I knew that I was going to get a bunch of my decor and table setting pieces from Dollar Tree! Not only is every item just $1, but their Summer inventory is super cute and bright, and exactly what I wanted for our patio space. Plus, it helps us keep under budget!
I made this table setting using their placemats and a few items from their craft and floral section. For the succulent decor, you'll need 2 glass bowls, 2 mini faux succulent plants and a bag of white rocks. If you want to make more, just double the products to buy. Each bag of rocks can fill 2 glass bowls about half way.
The steps are so easy that I made an Instagram Stories Highlight that you can tap through to follow along!
First, remove the plants from the planter. If you grab these ones, they pop out easily from the styrofoam that's in the container. Neither of these were glued down. Just be careful and try to grab from the bottom or you'll pull them off the stem. If that happens (which it did for me on the 2nd one), you can easily put them back on.
Next, pour half of the rocks into each of the bowls. This will fill them up about half way which is perfect. You don't want the bowls filled so much that the plants pop out the top. If you are looking to do that, I recommend a bag of rocks and about 3 or 4 succulents per bowl.
And that's it! You can pull the styrofoam out of the planters and save them for another project like I did.
