Backyard Shenanigans
Miles and I like to take advantage of the shade in the early and late mornings around the house. The shade in the backyard doesn't last long since this bush-tree behind me is the only tree we have. Good thing there's tons of city trees and trees in our neighbors yards out front to last us until noon!
There's nothing that brings me more peace than watching him be fascinated by the billowing trees and bright colored flowers in our little neighborhood. I've found myself incorporating more color and more floral designs in my wardrobe just to watch his little face light up with curiosity.
This particular piece I've had for years. I got it maybe 6 years ago now? It's 3 sizes too big, but I think its works better that way. I've paired it over mini bodycons, sports bras, tank tops, and now nursing tank tops. When shrinking my closet size down and trying to adapt a minimalist wardrobe, this was one of the first pieces that popped into my mind as a must-keep. It's the kind of piece where you don't remember how or when you got it, but you know you'll never get rid of it.
