#LoveWins
I try to avoid discussing politics as much as possible, but I can't help but share my infinite excitement for the LGBT community on this historic day where the ban on marriages is lifted and available to everyone. I get where the religious side of the argument comes from. Believe me, I get it. From my point of view, this country was started to gain religious freedom, not be held back more because of it. And, to be fair, your religious-based marriage still isn't considered legal until you get a license from the COURT (OF LAW; as in the government and not your head church) that says it's legal. Your church isn't down for it? That's fine. That's your call. But that doesn't mean your religious beliefs should dictate how someone else lives there life, ESPECIALLY if they're not even a part of your religion. /rant
To my friends who have fought relentless for the freedom, I congratulate you. You did it, and I couldn't be happier. Today is a good day.
