Every time I wear this dress to work, my coworkers all say that I should be walking around with a martini in one hand and an apple pie in the other. Honestly, I would totally be cool with being able to get away with having apple martinis and fresh baked apple pies all day long. Of course, I'd also be a drunk with a very specific eating disorder but I'd be cool with it.

Speaking of parties, I'm very excited for experiencing a BBQ pool party for the first time in years tomorrow. I also haven't been in pool for years. Which reminds me, I really need to go get a swimsuit. Mike is taking me to the beach on Saturday where we will lounge on the beach with our fancy picnic basket in our pasty skin under a hot California sun. Where exactly we're still trying to figure out, ha ha! We'll figure it out eventually.

The great thing about Stockton is it's location in the Central Valley; it's 40 minutes to the state capitol, two hours to San Francisco, and about six to seven hours to Disneyland. Getting to a beach, any beach, is not even a problem. Deciding on one is where all the problems lie. We've narrow our beach cities to Peach Beach, Monterey, Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay. I'll let you know where we end up.
