Geek Chic: Earthbending Master

 

Tomorrow is Friday, and while that's highly exciting in and of itself, it's also the TV premier of the series finale for The Legend of Korra, the hit Nickelodeon animated series sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'm so unbelievably stoked. You have no idea. Ever since last Friday's episode, I've just been oozing a special level of happy. The episode is currently available to watch online, but it's just different watching it on my TV.

Last Friday, I hit the downtown Lodi area at lunch with my friend Kristen sporting my work-appropriate Earthbender-inspired outfit. It's a little mix of Toph and a little mix of Bolin, and was absolutely perfect for the weather we had that day. And so comfortable, too! Nothing beats a shirt and some leggings. I had photos for a night version of this outfit featuring a slight variation, but the photos came out absolutely awful and will be retaking them over the weekend. Oh well, you live and learn right?
