Life in an Instant
I didn't post anything for last Sunday because it's been a really stressful time for my family. I'm not going to go into detail about it, but don't expect too much from me for the next couple of weeks. I've been trying, but it's been tough. Everyone has their ups and downs, I suppose.
This past Sunday, my mom and I picked up my aunt from SF and saw this really neat sculpture of a lady in a couture gown with SFO and culture buildings carved into her hair piece. It was really neat seeing it up close. Absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to be able to go back and look for info on it as my aunt's flight had arrived. To help cheer me up, Logan was sweet enough to give me a couple of hand-colored drawings in such a sweet ass envelope that made me feel like an international spy. It was so great to start my morning off that way. On Friday, our department said goodbye to an employee and friend, wishing her much good luck in her adventures in Silicon Valley. I've been keeping up with her feed on Instagram, and she looks very much at home in her new city. Congrats Em!
I'm hoping that this week looks up, but I almost feel as if I'd be jinxing myself if I hoped to hard. I guess we'll just have to play it by ear.
