StocktonCon Holiday Mini Con 2012

This past Sunday, Jeff and I had the pleasant experience of attending StocktonCon's Holiday Mini Con for charity event at the AG Spanos Center in UOP. They had some neat items up for auction to go towards St. Mary's Dining Hall and United Way. We saw a few friends from within the local nerd community and made some new ones. They announced at the event that StocktonCon 2013 had such an amazing turn out that they will be moving it to the Stockton Arena. It's pretty exciting, because they originally only believed about 500 people would show up for the event. Over 5000 people actually attended. For a town that seems to have so little to look forward to and enjoy, it's really quite great that we finally have this. I can't wait to see all the costumes next year!
