My nose hurts
The one thing I've learned about being sick this past week is that Magnetic Poetry magnets are a lot of fun when you have no energy to do anything else productive. I've come up with quite a few random things. I also discovered that trying to write for NaNoWriMo when you're delirious is difficult. However, I did manage to make sense, which is always a plus in my book.
This is the first weekend in the past few weeks that I've had all to myself and it's so nice. I just wish I had more energy to clean and organize. I've been taking my family out to a lot of places since they came in from the Philippines. It's great to be able to see them, don't get me wrong. I love getting to see them since it's usually every few years that I get to. It's just hard to get things accomplished in my apartment.
On the Movember front, The Abbey Trappist Pub has agreed to help out with an End of Movember event for Team MOle Rats on November 30th in combination with their Mustache Friday. I'm so excited to be doing this! We're going to have contests and prizes for the night. Right now, I'm waiting for approval from the Movember website to get the party kit and have the event published on the website. If you find yourself in Stockton on Friday, November 30, please stop by The Abbey on Miracle Mile and show your support of Movember and promote awareness for men's health. I'll be there with my Mo-tach-ee shirt made by my friend, Josh, at Rockefeller Apparel. If you haven't joined yet, please join my team. You don't have to be near Stockton to hold Movember near and dear to your heart. If you happen to be feeling gifty, any donation is welcome!
Please, if you haven't already, go get a quick check up at the doctors. I know that many of us, myself included, are in constant fear of walking into a doctor's office and learning the worst. However, the earlier a condition is caught the more chances you have of healing properly. I want all of you to live long and healthy lives, so please help spread the courage to others around you as well.
