Since Comic-Con ruled my life for the past week, I decided to break away a bit from Pinterest and show you some items you might not have seen before. All of these can be seen on my Pinterest "For The Home" board.
The thing I love most about a black and white themed decor is how food stands out and gives the room a unique splash of color, always changing yet somehow the same. Place a white bowl on a black-clothed table with lemons and you're ready for summer, or pumpkins for fall. This theme is clean and simple, and can make a bold statement. Always remember: less is more, in most cases.
The Cheat Sheet Kitchen Apron is necessary for the forgetful baker, such as myself. Every measurement you could possibly need is on this apron and great for those moments you can't spend time searching for the answer on Google. It also has estimated cooking times and a glossary. The print is upside down when facing it, so all you have to do is grab the bottom corners while you're wearing it and pull it within reading range.
I honestly chose the Twisting Sisters Kitchen Timer because of how adorable it is and my random obsession with matryoshka dolls. I've never had a hand kitchen timer, but this one is on my wish list. I can just imagine it now, resting sweetly next to the toaster...
The Star Wars mugs were a surprising find on Etsy while I was on the hunt for something else. Jeff and I swoon over them and I'd love to add them to my ever growing mug collection. I'm not quite sure why I even bother owning glasses at this point.
