Kids Brunch Boxes with Snack'n Waffles

When we planned out our baby shower, we wanted our son to feel just as included in the celebration as he has been on the journey. This meant also finding a place for him and his friends at the banquet table. Out of respect for the kids, I won't be including their photos in this post, but I will be sharing how we built special brunch boxes for them to enjoy with special help from Snack'n Waffles who gracious provided these sweet and yummy Wild Blueberry waffles!

For those of you who have never heard of Snack'n Waffles, they're a brand committed to making you and your family's breakfast adventures packed with more protein and less sugar to help you have a healthier start to your day! Each waffle has 6 grams of protein, with no artificial flavors, preservatives or high fructose syrup. And since they're already flavored (Buttery Maple, Wild Blueberry and Sweet Cinnamon) you can cut out the extra syrup to help reduce your sugar intake by 42%! Each waffle comes individually wrapped, which makes them great for storage and on-the-go portions!

To build these boxes, we first started out with some wooden kraft boxes my sister-in-law found and stuffed them with a large sheet of parchment paper. Tip: we love super crunchy waffles in our house and we've found that the keep to that is to bake your waffles in the oven! After the waffles cooled down a little bit, we cut them up into wedges (about 4-6 per waffle). We also peeled and sliced up some apples to place in the box. Each kid got an apple pouch and a boxed milk, plus a small little container of syrup for dipping!

All of the kids attending were under the age of 5 and gobbled these boxes right up! They were perfect for kids running in and out of the house, around the backyard and, naturally, all over the furniture. The syrup was hardly touched because these Wild Blueberry waffles are so naturally sweet that they must just not have needed them!

These boxes were so fun and easy to make, and each kid felt like they had their own special treat! Definitely going to be making these again in the future for holidays and birthdays. I can't wait for Baby to come and make him some boxes, too!

Special thanks once again to Snack'n Waffles for gifting us such a tasty treat for all of our guests to enjoy on our special day! For more info on where to grab waffles for your breakfast and brunch enjoyment, click on the links throughout the post!
