Geek Chic: Love for the Fit & Flare

I love a good fit and flare dress. You might also know them as the skater dress. The M.O. of the fit & flare is to provide a fitted top with a flared out skirt. You can compare the skirt portion to the circle skirt. It's just the perfect amount of fun, flirty, girly and darling for me. 90% of all dresses I have in my closet take on the fit & flare style. Additionally, if you keep most of your happy thoughts in your midsection like I do, the F&F style does well to hide it. You could imagine my excitement when I started noticing that the trend for most geek chic dresses took on my favorite shape. I think I'm going to need a bigger closet soon if these designers keep upping their game!

I am in love with that Bee dress. I like fit and flare because they are flattering on anyone, even short-waisted weirdos like me.

I feel like they're one of those styles that look good on almost everyone, which is great! I love that the Bee dress has sleeves, too! I kinda wish more did.
